Did a search and didn't find anything I could use. What Redding bushing sizes are you using for best results. Will be starting with the 123's L. With Lapua brass.

Thanks GoldenRod

I use a .289 bushing for my 260 Rem with Rem brass. The Lapua brass should be about the same thickness. The .289 should get you anywhere from .003"-.005" neck tension. Mine is right at .004" tension.

.288-.287 with ligth turned necks (Lapua brasses)
.290-.289 with no turned necks.

My load by OCW in a CIP chamber print :
- Scenar 123gr Moly and 2,41g of Vihtavuori N540.
- 51,20mm-51,22 from base to tangente (or 69,94mm-69,98mm OAL)
very light tension neck (.001)

bipod and rear bag : 1/2 MOA @ 300m

I also use .289" bushing. I have had good luck with the following load in MY rifle (very mild). Work up carefully in yours.

123 Scenars
37.5 gr. Varget
BR-4 primers

Re: Bushing Sizes for 6.5X47L

I started with a .290, but now use a .289... With several firings on the cases, the .289 give a bit more consistent tension.

This is with either 130 Bergers or 130 JLKs, but the particular bullet should not matter.
