Bushmaster .22lr upper

I run across a Bushmaster .22lr upper. States just remove your .223 upper and replace with it and commence to shooting.

My question is are they good .22lr upper? He wants $300 for it. I know this would pay for itself in ammo in no time, but want to make sure I get something that runs for my money.

No parts available, bizarro buffer compared to anything else, not sure about mag compatibility with anything else.
The Chiappa upper is supposed to be about $300.

He told me the black dog mag's fit it. But I have no knowledge about the upper. It also comes with (2) 10 round mag's.
