    Between the Ozark and Ouachitas
I picked up a Bushmaster AR-15 XM15-E2S A3 as part of a swap. It’s NIB , all paperwork. I am into it for $600.00. I know they went tits up and this one was manufactured in NY instead of Massachusetts. The fit and finish is alright and it seems to be tight ? My question is , is this worth keeping ? Leave it NIB and sell/trade? ....stick it in the safe in case of emergency ? , or put a optic on it and made it a shooter ?
Has the quality fallen off enough to be leery of it ? I know I might be into it for more than it might be worth , but I came out ahead otherwise $$.
    Thanks 👍

I say keep it for now. If that dementia ridden puppet Biden were to win (God help us), I imagine all gun related items will go through the roof. Especially evil black guns.

Who knows, you may get $2K for it in December from some newbie ;)

I'd probably make a couple upgrades and call it good. Make sure the gas key is properly staked, put a proper extractor o-ring and spring in it, drop in a H buffer if it doesn't have one, it'd probably be a pretty good, reliable shooter.

    Thanks gentlemen !
Checked the gas key , looks well staked ...lightly lubed the carrier and elsewhere.
Ran 85 Federal 55gr FMJ through her. Ate them up without any glitches , ejected every round positively. Figure I’ll mount a Aimpoint I already have, zero both open sights & optic....clean it and call it good for now. Might need it for trade bait ?
