Recently bought a Bushnell 6500 2.5-16 mil-dot model. Very clear, very bright, side focus, large adjustment range, long eye relief, great warranty.
I'm now looking for a tactical model w/ about the same power range, side focus, mil-dot, 30mm tube. There are plenty to choose from (Burris XTR, Sightron S3, Nikon X, etc), but they all have about the same specs as the Bushnell and cost a lot more.
Can someone familiar with these models tell me what differences there are between the 6500 (which is not sold as a tactical scope) and the tactical models?
