Thought I'd put this up out of interest sake. Those that own a 4.5-30x50 6500 Bushnell are probably (like me), into LR shooting but likely on a budget and unable to afford the likes of S&B, NF, USO etc. For the money the 6500 series of scopes are definitely a lot of bang for your buck but the only thing lacking from the factory is a zero stop. Mine is mounted on a 30moa rail on a LA Howa 1500 chambered in 338-375 Ruger and is intended to be used at extended range. Ranges beyond those normally attempted in traditional hunting scenarios. Ranges where dialing elevation is a necessity. Now I know my 200 yard zero is exactly 2 rotations (24moa) from the end of this scopes adjustment and its not that hard to manage but Zero Stop does make it easier. So here's what I use.
Custom made nylon spacers. These are approx. .5mm intervals with an OD of 23.5mm and ID of 17mm.

Vortex Zero Stop shims just happen to be a perfect fit as well for fine tuning your settings so if you have a mate with some spares you can get a spacer made slightly under size and make up the rest with shims to get it where you want it.

Here's where they work out to be on mine from the bottom of its adjustment range.
8.6mm spacer = 13 moa up
9.1mm spacer = 22 moa up
9.5mm spacer = 28 moa up
10.1mm spacer = 39 moa up which is getting to be about the middle of its adjustment any more than this and your likely to want to add some more cant into your rail.
Vortex Zero stop shims are .2mm thick and each one will be about the 3 moa mark.

Mine personally uses the 9.1mm spacer which is 2 minutes past my zero and where it just starts to feel some additional resistance.
