So many times on forums people bitch about what a company does wrong and never talk about what they do right.
I wanted to plug the excellent product repair experience I had with Bushnell on a pair of Bushnell Forge 15x56. I started carrying these around to matches in lieu of a spotting scope and 10x binos. In short, they are fantastic for identifying targets at a stage and spotting during a match. Great glass and I really noticed the weight savings at the end of a two day match in carrying only one piece of glass.
So about the customer service experience... At my last stage of a match last year the wind blew over my tripod with the binos attached to the tripod at the adapter. Yes, I am a dumb ass for not laying my binos/tripod down when it was my turn to shoot. Of course the binos burned in and they sheared off at the bino attachment point to adapter. i was not pleased to say the least.
I reluctantly filled out the Bushnell online repair form and mailed them in. They emailed me an RMA form to include with the binos and quoted me 3 weeks. Well, 3 weeks later my binos were back repaired and good to go. They even paid the return shipping. BOOM! well played Bushnell.
TL; DR: The Bushnell "Iron Clad Warranty" is good to go.
