I sent a old Trophy scope back for repairs after I found it was still under warranty and they must not been able to repair it so they are sending me one of these instead.
2.5-10X44mm - 30mm Deploy MOA reticle.
Anyone have any experience with one?
Yeah I know it's not a top end scope but since it was basically free since the scope I sent in was 10yrs old if nothing else it can be used on a .22 rim fire.

They're Bushnell's budget-friendly tactical scopes. It would be a good choice for a cheap 22LR trainer or plinker. I ended up with a Forge 3-18 on mine, but there's a significant price difference between the Engage and Forge optics.

I bought one for my brother. It was clear n has a great feature set for the price. I didn't test total tracking but it worked good for shooting out to 300 yards with a 270.
The glass was a bit nicer than my 4200 n lasted past dark a tiny bit longer.

The turrets feel plasticy and it doesn't feel as robust as higher end Scopes, but for a cheaper scope I like it.

Thanks for the replies.
I figure it will be OK to play with and learn how to twist dials to hit targets or just use the other hash marks if they coincide with the rifle caliber I put it on.
Right now thinking of a 7mm Rem I have in the safe that needs to be shot or a 300 wm might be interesting.
Don't have anything smaller with less recoil to put it on.

Let us know how it works on the 300win if you put on there, if the 300wm doesn't pull it's pants down you definitely traded up.

LOL I hear yeah.
Being a free_be if the 300 kills it I'm wondering if Bushnell will replace it? A 300 Weatherby killed the Trophy I sent in for repairs it replaced.

They have one of the best warranties period. Years ago when I bought my first 300wm I learned the hard way that cheap hunting scopes didn't fair well with it and killed two before upgrading, rifle scopes have come a long ways since then.

I've had 3 scopes on the 300 wm and they all have held up so far and they are Burris E-1, Vortex Diamond back and right now there is a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14X44mm sitting on top and will be reluctant to take it off since it is working well there.
The Burris E-1 is a 3-9X40mm with a G4 dot and it's on a 338 wm now and is happy there. The Vortex is on the 7mag but I haven't been able to cozy up to their MOA plex reticle and is too heavy for a 1" scope.
Hopefully the Engage will find a home or it might end up on a .22 rim fire.

All of those are newer designs and better quality than the two I trashed, that was 25 or 26 years ago.
Being a cheap ass I learned can end up costing more in the long run.

I have 2 of the old (1970s) Japanese Banners fixed power that seem like they want to live for ever and probably will as long as they stay on the light recoiling rifles they are on.

I have yet to mount this on a rifle due to not having a set of rings on hand and not sure which ones to buy.
I also haven't warmed up to the reticle or that tactical turrets. I just not a tactical type guy and had to use tactical type weapons back in the 70's may have turned me off to tactical weapons and scopes plus I like to just set them and leave them when it comes to scopes so I don't forget the count on the elevation adjustments. Yeah with zero stop you can just turn it back and shoot but with my luck I wouldn't rest it to zero and shoot and miss what I was aiming at.
So I'm thinking about sending it down the road before I put it in rings and decrease the value.
Since I don't have selling privileges here yet I'll post it on a different web sight for sale.
