Rifle Scopes Bushnell glass

Does anyone know if the glass and coatings in the Dmr/Xrs 34mm tube tactical scopes are the same as in the 30mm 6-24x50 ers tactical scopes?

I had one of the 2.5-16 and 3-12 LRS scopes and didn't look the same to me. The newer ERS/XRS looked better to me.

The ERS is 3.5-21. They do not make a ERS in 6-24. The LRS is that mag range. Looking through both the ERS/XRS line, they also look better in almost every way then the LRS line. To my eye.

Well, FYI, and to answer my own question, I called Bushnell and was advised that the glass and coatings were the same in all of the elite tactical lines. The new Dmr 2 has a different coating which most everyone here has already heard.

Interesting. Would you say the DMR-2 line is a better coating?
