I've got a Bushnell 3200 tacticool the glass is clear adjustments seem to be true however after zeroing at 100 yds the elevation knob is out of alignment with the marking on the scope body. After dialing come-ups the problem just compounds. I live near a factory repair place so I took it in the repair guy took it then later came back with it fixed or so I thought. After remounting and re-zeroing I'm back where I started, so all the guy at the shop did was spin the knob back down.

My question is has anyone else run into this issue or am I the only one and what can I do?

Re: Bushnell Help

Are you saying that you can't unscrew and pull off the covers and reset the zero? If it's a tactical model then there should be a hole on the top of the turrets for an allen wrench. For standard turrets, I believe there are two screws on top.

Re: Bushnell Help

Which model? MOA or Mil adjustments?

I have a 3200 10X with 1/4 MOA adjustments.

The knobs sit on splined shafts that have twice as many teeth as the number of clicks, per revolution. This means that you can drop the knob onto the shaft in 1/8 MOA increments.

If it's off less than 1/8th MOA then it should be plenty close enough to use effectively.

My opinion?
You zeroed them incorrectly, or you are expecting too much from a $200.00 scope.

Re: Bushnell Help

yea I do that after re-zeroing I know that I'm complaining about my $350 optic and most guys on here are rocking NFs and USO but this seems like a simple issue I expected at least to have the lines line-up as I dial my come-ups.

Re: Bushnell Help

Again....which model?

No one but you was comparing scopes.
The Bushnell I own is a pretty good scope for the price.
I am pleased with the performance of my $200.00 scopes as well as my $2,000.00 scopes.....but I certainly expect less from the cheaper ones.

Re: Bushnell Help

I guess I'm not following what the issue is or what you can't do. You said "tacticool" so I assume it's the Elite 3200 Tactical. I have several Elites and after I zero'ed the rifle all were able to remove the turret or zero scale ring and reinstall so that the "0" on the turret or ring is on the line.

So, are you not able to remove the turret or can you not reinstall it so that dials are set to zero as shown on page 7?

Re: Bushnell Help

Thank you guys for all the help and yes I've done this, I've reset the turrets. Upon doing more research I'm guessing the issue lies in that the adjustments around the turret are of a fraction of a fraction off and as Bushnell 3200's don't have a ton of elevation adjustment I only have one more revolution before it's maxed out. I'll be looking for a canted scope base to counter this.

Gents I wasn't trying to insult anyone or compare scopes I bought the 3200 because you get so much scope for the money. I own lots of Bushnell's products and would buy more in the future they are plenty of scope for me I'll save my money for one of the "nice" scopes for when I've "out shot" this scope.
