Bushnell Legend T Spotter and SilencerCo Radius

I initially mounted it on the top, then moved it to the left side so I could look at it with my left eye without moving my right eye off of the spotter. I wound the cord around the eyepiece and put it right above the eyepiece/below the Bushnell logo so the hand I use to adjust the eyepiece can engage it, and it doesn't inflict lateral movement when pressed.

I should work just fine. I made an adapter out of a QD bipod mount so I could put my ConX on the rail on top. Makes for a stable platform to range from and get a solution and then just drop down to the spotter.

atx,
How did you mount the 2400?
Im talking to BLAMM enterprises about making a new QD mount that would allow the 2400 to be mounted on its side. Was thinking that both spotter and LRF would be flat against each other, benefits being; small package and LRF would be as closely aligned to the spotter as possible. Since there no absolute need to look through the 2400 was thinking it all may work perfectly. Thoughts??

I started out by doing this, but now I've just got the two mounted side by side on a dual mount (Amazon link here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004HK0RXY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) It seems to be less awkward - I've got a mini-ballhead for the rangefinder so I can get them co-witnessed quickly.

I got the Gen II LRI mount for my Kilo 2200: https://www.longriflesinc.com/collections/products/products/lri-sig-kilo-2000-tripod-mount I like it better than the Sig one (which is just like the LRI Gen I) because it's much slimmer on the base and you don't need to take the LRF out of the mount to use it handheld.

I think being able to mount the LRF on the side of the spotter sounds like an awesome idea, my only concern would be getting them to cowitness properly at long range where just a little bit of difference in alignment can make a big difference to your distance readings. With a hard mount, you wouldn't be able to tweak if they're not quite aligned. That's why I put the scope and LRF side by side and put the LRF on a ball head - it's not nearly as fast but I know I can get them perfectly aligned every time. Whoever makes the mount would either have to make it really precise (which probably isn't possible as I'd guess the specs and placement on the Bushnell side rails differ too much from scope to scope) or have some way to tweak the alignment - which would be hard on a side mount.

So long story short, I think it's a good idea but I think getting the level of precision you'd want will require some pretty creative solutions on the mount side that may not be worth the time and expense. The SilencerCo Radius is the ideal solution in theory but I've heard some mixed reviews on its capabilities, it's not suited as a handheld LRF, and it doesn't have all the AB stuff the 2400 has going for it.
