Bushnell Match Pro ED (MPED)

Looking for thoughts, reviews, and experience with the MPED.

I've been seeing a few negative reviews and I am hesitant to pull the trigger if it was over hyped.

Is there any other scope better for under $700?

My use will be on a 308 Sig Cross as a hunting rig and fun range gun.
