I have a chance to buy for about 3/4new price a Bushnell prime 1300range finder, wanted mostly for bow hunting but I’d be happy if I could use it in somewhat reflective targets at 8 or 900 yards- the limit I currently have to shoot without traveling to far. Anyone used this particular machine. I have a Vortex 1000 that I payed full retail for and I’m fairly happy with, want a “knock around “ unit that won’t break my heart or bank if it drops out of a tree stand or into some rocks hiking around.

I've messed with them a bit. They get the job done. Has the must-have stuff like ARC and EXO Barrier. It doesn't have many issues with going to its max range. The thing is really has going for it is how bright the imaging on it is. It's almost like having a 6x monocular instead of a $170 LRF when you're looking through it.

Thanks for the input; haven’t seen to much about them, the only review I’ve seen said it was nice and clear but didn’t give reliable distance readings; but the feel of the video was they were shilling for the similar Nikon product.
another concern is I just saw them for sale dirt cheap ay Natchez and wondered if they were being clearance sales out.

Oh! That's the older 3-eye model, it's been discontinued for a while. Personally, I'd spend the extra money to get the newer model.
