i just bought a bushnell 6-24x50, it only has 48 moa of elevation. im putting it on a savage 10 fp mcm .308 with a 1 in 10 twist and a 20 moa base. im worried about not having enough elevation to reach 1000 yrds with out having to hold over. what do yall think.

It's a close call with that scope. It will work with some rifles/loads and not with others. Some rifles will need a few more MOA in the base. You'll just have to mount it and see how much elevation you have left after you zero.

You will have to try it to see if it works.
Too many variables (action/barrel/scope variances) to say for sure.
You have chosen a combination that has just enough travel "if" everything works out very well.
When you leave things to chance you only have a chance.
