looking at lrf's, are bushnell scout 1000arc or legend 1200arc's worth it.

they performed very poorly at the mammoth sniper challenge in ky this past weekend [bushnell was a match sponsor and provided them for participants who were required to use them on certain stages], i'd say stay away...

If you're looking at Bushnell, go with AT LEAST the 1500 Elite ARC or the new 1600 Fusion Bino/LRF.
1500 Elite ARC was my first and it performed superb in all but the harshest weather and light conditions out to 1100m or so. Beyond that, conditions had to be perfect.
Upgraded to the 1600 Fusion over Christmas and couldn't be happier. You will have a VERY HARD TIME getting a better LRF AND Binocs for $700.
