I love the idea of this thing. Seems like a great compact spotter. Other than the 20% failure rate.

I am just wondering if the current batch is any better. Are they worth taking a chance on?

I have 5 in stock ready to ship. (listed in the accessories for sale section) Because we had one bad one out of the last batch I'm checking them before they go out. These are the most bang for the buck in a spotter.

My shooting buddy bought one from SWFA. I have to say, I was quite impressed. Unfortunately his has black specks and he's sending it back.

I sold my Alpen to get one of these then all the black dot / water issues came up. There does not seem to be much INTEL if Bushy fixed them or any more are showing up. I want to pull the trigger on one but at this time I fear of having to deal with warranty all winter shooting season.

I PM Scott and not wanting to put words into his mouth but I got the idea that he no longer deals in them.

I do no want to go with SWFA and dealing with them if a warranty issue comes along.

Second hand news, but my shooting partner bought one of these spotters from SWFA. Black specks. One call, money back, no questions asked. FWIW

I have not heard any negatives about SWFA. I generally deal with Scott, but SWFA seems good to go,

I think Huntler will get my coin for one of these since he says he personally inspects them all to ensure they are good to go and his orange handle says he sponsors the Hide so I will trade with him.

I dropped mine on the garage floor. It still seems fine. I got mine Huntler, no problems.
