Suppressors buying a suppressor from a friend

Re: buying a suppressor from a friend

If you live in the same state, he can form 4 it to you w/o going through a dealer. If he's out of state then you will have to get a dealer involved

Re: buying a suppressor from a friend

You can a get an ATF form 4 from http://www.titleii.com/TitleII.com/Forms.html or the ATF http://www.atf.gov/forms/pdfs/f53204.pdf . The forms have to be printed out double sided. The 5330.20 is here; http://www.atf.gov/forms/pdfs/f533020.pdf These online forms might not the the latest revisions of the forms that the ATF requires. You can order them at no cost from the ATF homepage, but it can take months to get them.

If your local sheriff will not sign, then you can form a trust or Corp to own it for you.

done this plenty,it's easy for you.He has to jump through all the hoops and go through the process that you would if buiyng from a dealer, only exception is that your name goes into 3a as the transferor, than all you do is take his money and hold onto the can until you recieve the approved form 4.
