Calculating BC for an unknown bullet?

I plan on making some Solid copper Bullets on my lathe but I have no idea how to calculate the BC of this bullet. If anyone has experience with this please let me know.
its probably going to be more trouble than its worth. thanks for your time.
 
Walk it out to distance, record velocity and play with BC numbers until it matches

It could be tedious but it will work. No different than calculating MV with a known BC. This is just opposite.

Coldbore 1.0 has tools to do this, if you are a Windows computer user, Download Coldbore, it's what i used to nail the Warner BC and it was backed up by Hornady using their doppler. I was within 1% of Doppler

But as noted, you need MV and information at both the shooter and target.
