Is a Savage 10FCP legal to ship to California? It has the detachable box mag.

Yes. Semi autos are the items that you need to be cognizant of in KALIFORNIA.

If you are selling it to someone in Kalifornia you need to go through an FFL.
Magazine issues are related only to over 10 round magazines.
Just remove the bolt for shipping and of course NO AMMO.

Nope, individuals may ship to CA-FFLs. If it goes through an FFL, the sending FFL needs to be registered with CA-DOJ (takes about one minute and can be done for free online) and obtain the CFLC number of the receiving FFL. A copy of the shipment authorization letter should be included with the firearm.

I should have been clearer, I meant Kalifornia FFL not from FFL to FFL.
