It’s got beautiful scenery and is well constructed, just know it’s anti-hunting and guns propaganda.

One question though: if a bullet was found in a victim’s skull could it be traced back to the shooter’s rifle? I know in theory it could according to crime shows but in practice it seems a stretch. Scratches are scratches....

If you have the gun and fire a bullet from it, and then compare it to the evidence bullet, an optical comparator can match the rifling. There should be some youtube videos of this.

Does make me wonder if the new barrels which are almost all EDM rifled at so smooth that the scratches left by cut riding affect the process. But firing, cleaning, dirt... Eventually there,will be scratches.

Reasonable video on the technology. Been around since the 30's I believe.
