Can anyone identify this rifle? I cant find any lettering on it. The only thing I can see stamped into it is a mark on the left side of the action.

Appears to be one of the late production "last ditch" Arisaka Type 99 rifles. Towards the end of the war Japan was trying to really speed up production, at the original 99s were not very time efficient to produce, though very well made.

Are they worth anything at all ?

With the chrysanthemum removed from the top of the receiver ring, barring any sort of provenance (capture paperwork, etc), it's not worth a ton (but don't throw it away!). Intact 'mum rifles will bring a premium, but I'd guesstimate, $350-400 ballpark based on what I've seen them go for recently.

It has a historical value.
What's the bore like?
Could be good for a military collectors day shoot.
What were they like accuracy wise?
I know fuck all about them.
If anyone has some info....🧐

Yep, Japanese Type 99. That's what production looks like when B29's are knocking on your door daily. I've got one in pretty similar shape I paid $350 for a couple years back. With the mum ground off that's pretty typical.
