Can I load this somewhat short .308 brass?

Loading some .308 win and came across this one empty that measures 1.991. Is it safe to load? I'm leaning towards not loading it to be safe. What would happen if this was reloaded and fired?

It is better than long. It might take you a bit to stretch it back out depending on your load but you will just get a little less neck tension. No biggy.

+ 1 to all of the above - I'm with leadbullet....why would it not be safe?

Just don't use it for a serious job, like shooting a match or something. The difference in neck tension or whatever may produce a flier, but there's no danger whatsoever.
Also, if you measured it before resizing, it will be longer after you size it.

ETA: reason I posted the question was since there's a "trim to" length min of 2.005, I was a bit concerned.
