Gunsmithing Can I rechamber a 300 WM Bull barrel to a 30/06

I have this bull barrel, want to change caliber over to a 30/06, was going to sell the bull but if I can rechamber the barrel that would be good too. Its a 28" straight cut CBI bull barrel for a Savage 110. If possible how much barrel length will I lose?

You're going to lose at least 2.5" off the chamber end and I would also recrown.
