Suppressors can on AR10

New to cans on semi-autos, I hear they beat the hell out of the guns.

I don't want to upgrade to a full-on SASS but want a way to regulate the gas system, is there a way to do that for not $1000 on a stock AR10A4?

Or is there another way?

Look into a PRI Gasbuster charging handle as well... I have found them to help with the gas that the adj gas block doesn't take care of.

Your options depend on your barrel profile. What is the diameter at the gas block?

If you reload....crush up 1 tablet of Gas-X mix it in with the charge while dropping into the case...that should help as well.

You may want to try the Permatex RTV method rather then the PRI gasbuster; it is more cost effective!

Not sure if he still does these but:

It has 3 positions for unsuppressed, suppressed and closed.
I have one and it works well.

There are other options' to the AR platform that suppress well, this is a DSA Grey Wolf with AAC Cyclone. Worked out well, has adjustable gas system, well proven reliability. Noveske did the barrel work in 06. Nice system. YMMV

I didn't notice any recoil impulse increase running a YHM Phantom on my DPMS LR-308.

I've now read that gasbusters should be avoided if shooting lefty with the gun, I shoot both left and right, so will avoid the gasbuster.
