Can recrowning a barrel hurt?

I'm sending a barreled action in to be cerakoted, and was thinking about having it recrowned while it was in. This way, I won't have to re coat it.

But can it hurt to have it done? The rifle is still pretty new, so I really haven't done any load fine tuning. But I think it'll be a 1ish moa gun.

The only way it could hurt is if the machinist does it wrong. Otherwise it's a good thing to have done, especially if it's a factory rifle.

If its factory, good time to get it cut and crowned. Its going in the lathe anyway.
