Can someone measure a Heathen Muzzle Brake for me

I purchased a Heathen Muzzle brake in .30 Cal in the .885 size. Trying to figure out what size I actually got. Package is marked .885 but nothing on it is .885.

The locking collar is .991 roughly. The diameter of the body is .896. Length is 2.350.

Did I get the .995 or the .885 or ??? Going on a thinner barrel and if the .885 is smaller then the one I got, then I'll exchange it. If this is actually the size of the 885 I may consider another brake.

Just measured mine and the locking collar is exactly 0.995" and the body is 0.895" like yours. To be honest... I don't know what model it is though. I had Insite build my rifle and they put it on so I didn't even get a box. My muzzle diameter is 0.95".

Just looking at the available options, I'd almost say ours are the 0.885" model, but I could be wrong. I've seen them put bigger brakes on MTU or 1.25" straight contour barrels that are definitely bigger than mine.

Ok thank you. I figured so but when I measured the locking collar pending how perfect I held my mic, I would get the .995 down to .991. Started wondering if it was packaged wrong as I didn't have any .885 measurements on it. Not a big deal as I'll probably just put it on another rifle with a larger barrel contour. Just wanted to see what others mic'd up at.

Have you checked with Insite Arms? They have always been quick to respond to questions that I've emailed them...

Haven't had a chance yet as they were closed/didn't pick when I tried. Figured someone here had one to measure quick this evening. Traveling the rest of the week and need to either box this thing up tonight to send back or it will be at least another week before I would be able to do so.

That’s your best bet. Just give them a quick call. Harley or Andy will point you in the right direction right away.

Got a call back from Insite this am. The 885 body is actually 895. They said the locking collar is roughly .10 larger at 995 for the 885 brake.
