It will probably keep nagging at you unless you plan to treat it as a plinker / beater…

Use it as a mule for tabletop arts & crafts, and see what you could do with some kind of power tool.

Personally, AR barrels (with their associated extensions) are a dime a dozen nowadays - I’d probably just get a new one.

I still change my oil regularly and don't slam the doors on my beater car. Just because it isn't the best of the best doesn't mean you shouldn't make it the best it could be.

OP is going to need to do a better job telegraphing the answer he wants to read.

It’s a 12 year old chrome lines AR barrel. Clean it up and shoot it.
