At first glance I'm saying yes. The piece you're holding in the second pic kinda blends in with the counter so I can't exactly tell how you're needing em joined.

I'm assuming it's a part that broke. Can you take a picture with the parts together how they need welded with a white background or something less busy?

Trigger part? Might it be more easily replaced. Welding is not the only part. It will need remachined post weld.

Just get a new one. Less than 5.00 and roll on.

If your "Have" to fix it, I'd silver solder it, vs welding/Tig. If it were mine I'd just replace it an drive on.

I was thinking it looked a lot like a safety lever. Yes that could be welded and the weld blended right out. I wouldn't think that part would be hard to find a replacement for but to answer your question, Yes I believe it can be repaired.

As a welder... Yes it can be welded. Is it worth the time to pay a guy to do it? No.

Buy a new one and roll on

Agreed not worth repairing. I think you are missing the be bigger picture. The opportunity for a new trigger assembly. Jewels and other come with a brand new safety.
