Hey Folks... I just heard about this through an organization Busenhalter-6 is chairing this year. They are supporting the Blue Star Mothers this year.
They made everyone aware that the Boston Red Sox do a big donation to the 'winning' organization in their statewide poll. And so if we can get the votes in, the Blue Star Mothers of VT will get $10,000. To put into perspective what that means to them, in 10 years since the BSMVT was founded, they have raised and spent $110,000, 100 percent of it going to veterans and their families. There is zero overhead. It's all volunteer. So this represents their entire year's fundraising... in one win!
From what I gather... you can vote as many times as you want... hint hint.
There should be lots of votes here in Snipers Hide to help put them on top.

There are some worthy organizations in other New England States, too. And those votes DO NOT compete with Vermont. Each state is a separate $10,000 award.
Vote early and often! There aren't many charities as worthy as the Blue Star Mothers.
