Suppressors Can you fly out of Chicago with a suppressor?

Just like the title says, can I fly out of Chicago with a suppressor? I'm planning on shooting the Guardian match in Ireland. I know you can travel THROUGH Illinois with one, but I dont know about flying out. Anyone with experience?

I’m looking at that now. It’s cheaper to fly out of Chicago but that brings legal questions.

Thats my current thought. I'm also investigating shipping the rifle/suppressor there.

I don't know the Chicago laws I would have to look, it's more state dependent , if they are illegal in the state don't go there.

I honestly don't have it memorized,

A stopover is not an issue if you never touch your bags, it's only a layover no biggie.

Sounds like a good way for a TSAer to get a new suppressor for cheap aka free.

I would be more worried about other countries' laws.... what are Ireland's about transporting it in? what happens if your flight gets diverted
and you land in another country and your bag is removed and re-screened? Are there any US laws about exporting a silencer out of the
country?
