I'm starting to see people attempting to define capitalism and it sounds like the black market Da Nang ca.1968. We're not stupid so don't piss on our paws šŸ¾ and tell us it's raining. I've watched my share of Magnum P.I. OG and Hard Tea is not capitalism.

Did I spell capitalism correctly? Asking for a friend.

By the way our resident professors are confusing it with Marxism, than yes. Shouldn't you be in a coma by this time of the evening. Oh, nevermind. That is Maggot. I get you two confused.

The way I remember is think of the sign as an arrowhead, spear, or knife. The stronger side stabs the weaker side.
i was always taught that the > was an alligator mouth.....and the alligator always eats the biggest/ best.

.....i dont remember much from elementary school......but i remember that.....and the magnificent ass my english teacher used to have......alligators and great big asses, a true american education.

Quadriplegic midget porno?
if we toss a midget in a ballistic arc with at a velocity of 19.6 m/s from a platform 58.8 meters tall....how long is the midget in the air.

well if we use the quadratic equation.

Time = -4.9T^2 + 19.6T +58.8

Time = -19.6 +_ sqrt( 19.6^2 - (4)(-4.8)(58.8))/ 2(-4.9)

Time = 6seconds and -2 seconds.....since we cant have negative time, we are left with 6 seconds of midget flight.

if lowlight would finally give me my midget tossing subform, i could explain the finer points of midget ballistics to you in great detail.

Would them being quadriplegic change the flight time? You know less drag because they can't flap their arms?

What's the BC of said midget? šŸ˜‹

we accounted for that when we calculated the influence of the aerolas effect on sub caliber projectiles.

What ballistics would frank be if he was tossed at 27 mph. Target is 25 yds! 4 mph wind 90 degrees. Temp 48.

Some cultures are better than others.

Capitalism is better than Socialism ā€” all forms of socialism, including The Big Lie of ā€œDemocratic Socialism.ā€

Capitalism is better than Communism ā€” all forms of communism. ā€œDemocratic Socialismā€ is just Communism 101.

Individualism is better than forced collectivism.

There are plenty of Socialist and Communist nations we can point to, and every single one is inferior to American Culture.

Period.

The Big Lie claims ā€œYeabbutt, they did it wrong. WE will learn from their mistakes and WE will do it right!ā€

That exposes their hubris and intent to subjugate YOU. They honestly believe THEY are better than you. A real American doesnā€™t want to govern or control anyone else, because we realize the shoe will eventually be on the other foot and WE the PEOPLE donā€™t want YOU the BIG LIARS telling us what we can and cannot do, say, or own.

There is no gray area here. There is no ā€œmiddle ground.ā€ There is no compromise. There is no negtiation when essential liberty ā€” the ONLY REAL human RIGHT ā€” is at stake.

If I vote for Bernie do we get to raid Hortas gun safe safes and closets and redistribute the loot?

Nope. Theyā€™re going to buy it all ā€œbackā€ ā€” even if I donā€™t recall buying anything from them in the first place.

More hubris on their part. FORCED confiscation of our private property... because they know better than you.

Bring back tar and feathers.

Spoken like a man that has just come from where we are going.......

Good people abused by a select elite.

Scary thing is that in our case that elite will have means and money to actually bring the full force of their power to bare........there will be no escape to the countryside allowing you to avoid their reach.

I believed this all my life, but then I came to find out that people held Lin Wood in high esteem. Now I just believe in the economic part.

Honestly, as long as a society holds the economic values of free market capitalism in the highest regard then the cultural values really canā€™t get too retarded. The problem is being able to fend off any leeches

That is true to some degree. But as the percentage dedicated to market capitalism diminishes, and institutions of culture are absolutely opposed to it, the sanity of the defenders becomes more important, and if they can't see the Lin Woods of the world as charlatans, I am not sure about the mental acuity on our side. That endangers what is already an endangered species.

And that is the danger of letting the state get too powerful

There are all sorts of dangers in letting the state get too powerful, but who is really fighting against that? As you may recall, I told you I thought it was important one day a year to stop being a libertarian and vote for the party that is best for liberty. I still believe that. But, now I watch the base of that party twist themselves into the contention that the intent of the Constitution is to, of all things, have the sitting Vice President choose the winner of the Presidential election. At that point I start to agree with you. Nobody really cares about liberty when the spoils of power are on the line.

I continue to believe that freedoms, whether economic, social or otherwise, are the greatest blessing man can have, but I am, daily, less convinced that any of those who purport to defend it are anything other than insane goblins trying to suckle at the teat of power.

Iā€™ve already stated my opinions about voting, letā€™s keep this thread focused on the beauties of the free market.

In fact, this entire forum is a testament to the beauty and innovation of the free market. Even in the face of unconstitutional(the very least) and draconian gun laws weā€™re still presented with thousands upon thousands of firearm combinations to choose from. And even though prices are inflated by everything Washington does, prices are still relatively low

I agree, with the proviso that I wasn't trying to relitigate the discussion on voting as much as I was trying to say that while I still hold my view, I hold it a bit less strongly after all of this, and not because of fraud but because of what I see as terribly illiberal behavior and rhetoric by those I would normally be willing to support. A mea cula, kinda, not an argument.

Amen, now back to capitalism

This website is in my sig but Iā€™m going to link to it again. Look no further for all of your free market needs

Capitalism = a politico-economic system where individual rights (no groups, e.g. genders, races, whatever the fuck else) are recognized and All property is privately owned.

No human-originated socio-political-economic system will be perfect. There will ALWAYS be ā€œelitesā€ who have boundless ambition to be Lords of men. Pure Anarcho-capitalism, a step beyond Libertarianism, is ā€” on principle alone ā€” the absolute best system of them all. Sadly, it doesnā€™t take many to ruin an otherwise good idea.

Thatā€™s the problem. ANY system of government, which is arguably an absolute necessity, requires compromise and real or tacit consent of the governed. Those unwilling to make ANY compromise are where we run into myriad impasses and things get bogged down.

America is broken. The Constitution is a relic of little relevance or substance to ambitious people ā€” Republicans or Democrats. It has become so bad that being a ā€œConstitutionalistā€ is now a byword and those who point to the Constitution are equated with conspiracy theorists and nutjobs (by design, no doubt).

This generation is in uncharted waters. Technology has synthetically intervened in an otherwise organic social spasm and affords those with unlimited ambition the tools to accumulate to themselves truly absolute power, and absolute power doesnā€™t only stem from the barrel of a gun, but even moreso from the ability to control all facets of global economics.

This is unique to this time in human history.

The Constitution is still relevant.....it's just been bastardized and ignored.
