Gunsmithing Carbon blank weight before and after chambering?

Anyone know how many ounces chambering and threading a proof research barrel in 7mm-08 will reduce the weight by?

Probably about as much as the headspace Go Gauge weighs, AKA not much.

Maybe a couple ounces by the time you turn down and thread the tennon and cut the chamber out.
