Carbon fiber barrels, rnd. count

Probably going to be getting a proof carbon fiber barrel. Got to wondering what the rnd count would be on it. I know This very dependent on caliber and how hard you run the barrel . So let's say a 7 saum or something similar, prc ,7 Sherman, or whatever caliber you want list. And let's say your pretty conservative on how u shoot it, no more than 4 consecutive shots. Or if u got one that u torch regularly, whats the rnd count on it. This is going on a hunting rig is reason for carbon fiber, try to lose a couple pounds. Thanks

A carbon barrel is not going to be any different from a stainless barrel, the benefit is they are a little lighter for the same contour. The throat is what is going to go first, so if you are getting say 1500 rounds out of a stainless barrel plan on the same for a carbon barrel.
