I've seen a few people mention carbon remage barrels here but haven't seen anybody talk about their experience with them. Do they perform well, worth the money, suggested manufacturer?

I have just heard differing pro's and con's about carbon barrels, some being more accurate, some not holding up well. I am interested in a thick light barrel and just want to see if anybody has tried one brand or another that sells a remage configuration.

Carbon 6 sells remage CF. Have heard good things about that brand, never used them. I would buy one if that was my only choice.

Any barrel nut barrel will perform pretty well like a shouldered barrel. Its at the extreme that a shouldered barrel will outform.

Most of the bad stuff I hear was from early gen CF when it was a learning process. Lots of stuff I hear is speculation about, blah blah blah. The process is pretty mature now.

One brand I do hear most complaints is Christiansen Arms. Not sure why.

CF gives you more stiffness for the weight. You can get the same results for the first three shots out of a similar weight pencil barrel. My Proof CF don't walk on me.

I only buy them for hunting rifles, otherwise I go steel.
