AG Composites - adjustable hunter or Gladius or Manners - prs1. Why? And adjustable cheek piece vs raised comb? Not sure which way to go, its going on a 6.5PRC TL3 action. Going to be used for long range and hunting.
would like your honest input.

Manners is the way I have gone and could not be happier. I have a t4a team and an eh5 from them both elite with mini chassis. The adjustable cheekpiece is a nice feature and really comes down to weight vs comfort thing. The cheekpiece will add roughly 1lbs to the stock and on something like an eh5 that is under 2lbs and has a proof barrel that's a big deal. I think the prs or the t4a team are some of the best all-around stocks Manners makes. I don't know anything about AG composites but if you buy a Manners you can be sure you have bought one of the best stocks money can buy.

As mentioned Manners are top notch. Been using them over 12 years and they are great stocks. I have got nothing but good things to say about them. I have a PRS with an adjustable cheek piece and mini chassis and it’s a nice set up. Not overly heavy but good features.

As to the adjustable vs standard comb, it would come down to you and the way you set the rifle up. The manners standard comb is a decent height but if using a higher mounted scope or your face structure might need more then go adjustable for sure.

Tom Manners and Rob Brantlare here on the site if you had any questions also.

It’s hard to beat the feel of the PRS1 with the thumb grove. I think manners need to work on the distance between grip and trigger. It’s a bit long but other than that the rest is close to prefect I think.

Agreed on trigger to grip spacing. You can actually have them inlet it back for you if you ever get another one, I found this out after I got mine
