Just making sure I am looking in the right spot....is the Carbon ring where to the left side of the picture towards the muzzle or the right? The left of the pic is going towards the muzzle. And do you see a Carbon ring? Thanks for the help just making sure I am looking in the right places. Going through the process of elimination to find my potential pressure issues.

The semi solid grey line on the right center of the picture is not a carbon ring right? The carbon right is usually to the right of there?

Screw your mirror in or out to adjust the focus correctly.

From what I can tell through the fog the top arrow is the chamber neck and so no, the carbon ring wouldnt be there, it has to be forward of the case but before the rifling is built up. But I reserve the right to be wrong based on that pic.

In any case its a good idea to clean your barrel and scrub the throat.

No Carbon ring ?...and if there was one it would be on the right side of the picture?

What issues are you having and what is the brass/bullet/powder/powder charge?

The spot on the left in the last pic may be a carbon ring

So what we are looking at in the new pic is labeled correctly, yes?

If so then I would call that highlighted area a carbon ring. Soak a patch and jam in in the neck and let is soak it for awhile. Then scrub the hell out of it until its gone and repeat.

Labeling is correct....Thank you Spife.....Usually the carbon ring shows up between the freebore and the neck correct? I know sometimes it can show up downstream but most of the time its where the case ends (trim length gap)....just checking my thinking

Here is another pic that goes a little further down towards the muzzle (lands starting past the freebore)
