Any good cases for the Swaro STR 80? Would prefer something padded and possibly with a pocket for a tripod.

Haven't tried it, but probably not. The front likely would fit, but the eyepiece on the STR is low rather than high. Not sure if the eyepiece cover could be rotated and still snapped on. If I rotated the entire case, the opening for the tripod mount would be on top, not bottom. The STR also has a much larger section between the eyepiece and the lens that contains the reticle.
Would like for it to work, as it would solve my problem. Anybody tried the STS case on the STR?

No. I used a Kifaru case, & then padded it with foam. The foam was covered in sewed nylon. This was the only viable option that I could find for me when I owned one

I carry mine in this with eye piece on. It comes with a bunch sectionals that place against the side walls for extra padding

Just picked up 2 of these padded Armageddon gear soft cases at GAP Grind, haven’t looked to see if they are on the website, but fits my STR80 perfectly.
Nice case. Can't find it on Armageddon Gear's website. Do you remember the name of it?
I asked the AG people here at Grind and they said it was a discontinued item, possibly a vendor exclusive. They were in their bin of odd logo items and other random stuff.
Roughly $114 with shipping. It’s the same style as the Kiowa they have but straight. It will take roughly 10-14 days to build and receive they said. Its style is to be left on while glassing on a tripod. And you have a fair amount of color choices. But you need to call or email.
