Case Prep with a Lee Zip Trim

I was goofing around with my camera last night and wanted to see if I could make a passable Youtube video.

I just picked up one of these Lee Zip Trim setups a couple weeks ago and figured it would be a good subject. They are cheap and simple. Not as fast as a Gracie or Giraud, but for a couple of bucks you can't beat it. The 3-jaw chuck makes it much easier to use than the individual shell holders.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XcTcD1noIKo&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XcTcD1noIKo&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

The case in the video was exceptionally long. It usually only takes 1 1/2 pulls on the cord. It takes me about 15 seconds to prep a previously resized case.

Always wondered about one of those, it looks like it pulls smooth and easy. The collet looks to be head and shoulders above the shell holder type.

Thanks, and good work on the video.

Glad you liked it. Since I busted my Youtube cherry, we will see what other stuff I can come up with.

Now that I have a passable tripod for the camera (not the rifle), I may get some good range footage.
