I am reloading .223 rounds for Highpower matches, I have made a couple of batches with good success but I am having problems getting a consistant case bump. It varies +/- .004.
I am using Redding comp dies, Imperial Wax and once fired LC brass. I have some new Winchester brass on the way. Any suggestions on what I can do to improve this.
Thanks,

Re: Case Sizing problems

MIcro fine polishing stone! Usually used for sharpening knives! Chuck you expander stem in a drill and run it on the stone to a mirror polish. Then get 0000 fine steel wool with a little Flitz metal polish. Run it on the steel wool for a minute or so and clean off with a rag and carb cleaner.

Or, as other would say!! Just remove the exapnder button all together.
