Suppressors CB mount timing

Seems like all searches with suppressor and timing go to wait times. Imagine that.

So I’m new to suppressors and wondering on a thunderbeast ultra 9 compact brake mount how important is it to have the brake timed to barrel? Obviously if shooting without can it would be necessary but if only shooting suppressed does it matter if the CB timing is off say 30 degrees?

Had I gone direct thread I would have no idea what timing inside is like so that got me wondering do I need to use peel washers and time or just run it as is.

Thank you for the fast info! Once tightened down it’s going to be closer to level than I originally thought but with the wide flat on top instead of the narrow one called for in instructions. I don’t anticipate shooting without it now that I have it! Next barrel I’ll be sure to have timed with the CB just in case.

i tried my best on the 300WM. and its not perfect.. shoots great and i am happy with the brake... and the suppressor obviously

Tbac Ultra 9 6.5 on my 21” 260 this morning shooting for first time ever suppressed on a rifle and it’s so much more awesome than I thought it would be! Virtually no POI shift and very quiet. I’m hooked!

@Zak Smith - I was wondering if you knew when more CB muzzle breaks might be in stock? I'm trying to hunt down a CB 30, and every place i've checked is out.

We got slammed with a disproportionate number of brake orders (common threads) this spring, everyone must be building up guns. Anyway, we should be caught up in around 6 weeks. Sorry about that!

Try Oakland Tactical. I was looking everywhere for a 5/8-24 30 and they were the only place that had them. Shipping was crazy fast.
