CDI inletting for savage factory DBM?

I've read on here that the CDI inletting will also work for the factory DBM. Has anyone done this that can confirm? I've contacted CDI and they said they can't inlet for the factory DBM because they don't have the data, so I thought I'd ask.
(Would be for a savage hog hunter)

I know my factory DBM still fit after CDI inlet. I never shot it with factory DBM after inlet because it was crap.

I don't know if you can get away with that on the Hog hunter stock though.
