I've been shopping around for a detach mag set up for my rem short the CDI's are the best price and use accuracy international magazines so I'm not using propriety mags. I want to know are they worth a damn or is there no difference between these things?

CDI makes a quality product, a little cheaper than the badger M5 and if u send ur stock in to them they will inlet it for u for 50 bucks, u cant go wrong with them IMHO

I sent a Tikka T3 Tactical down for one of his DBM conversions. He got it on Thursday and has already done the work and is shipping it out today. That is a hell of a turn around time! He was genuinely nice to talk to on the phone (he called me).
I have not read or heard from anyone who said his DBM is not up to par.

CDI seems to have a good reputation around here. Most guys post about the work and products being top notch. And as you noted, the mags are AI.

CDI is first class all the way.
Send him your stock and a check for parts and labor. In a week or so you will be back at the range.

Jeff at CDI is terrible.....he does great work, on time and reasonable. Also a friend of mine which doesn't count

Got my T3 Tactical 223 back yesterday. Jeff @ CDI did a great job on it. I really like this gun now that I can load closer to the lands and still feed from the magazine.

Gonna go get one installed this morning in my 700. (he's local) Very excited. Saw a couple already installed in person yesterday. Top notch bottom metal!

I had a problem with the shipper damaging my stock on the return trip from him. He squared it away without question. Best service I could have recieved without a doubt.

+1 on Jeff. I started some of the 1st gen FN conversions
and worked with him on the 2nd and 3rd gen FN. Not a better guy to deal with out there.
