Looking at getting a CG Jackson 2 stage for my Rem 700.

I have a couple Geissele SD-E trigger in ARs that I really like. Wondering how they compare to the jackson. Specifically the travel, the SD-E has about 3mm of travel for stage one, and little less than 2mm of travel to break stage 2. Can anyone tell me about how much the Jackson has? Other impressions about the Jackson welcome too, thanks.

Re: CG Jackson triggers

Great triggers. I had one on my TAC 30. It was the older universal model so it was a pain to have stocks inletted for it. However the new ones are drop in with no stock modifications. I am pretty sure the travel was adjustable but I can't remember. I know it was like cheating after I installed it. My groups immediately shrank down in size. The first stage is a very clean pull and very easy to tell when the second stage starts. Mine broke with the slightest of pull on the 2nd stage. I will own another some day. I would say the first stage is around 2mm or less.
