Gunsmithing Cg X-treme mod 22 trigger issue

Just installed my new CG X-treme mod 22. Everything function checks, except for one small issue. The safety doesn't engage! Any thoughts?

Sleeper,
If you will look at the trigger on the barreled action out of the stock. You will see that there is a little screw that holds the safety to the body of the trigger, loosen that a tad and see if it functions correctly.

You need to have enough first stage travel for the safety to work properly. Try lengthening the first stage and see if that works.

Thanks, guys I will try when I get home from work. I think I have plenty of first stage travel as I like a long first stage.
