Looking to swap over to Hornady brass from Peterson with my 6.5cm. I’ve conducted a water capacity test and got readings of 50.2 for Perterson and 52.4 for Hornady.

I’m currently running 42.6 grains of H4350 and am not sure where to go with the larger case capacity of the Hornady. Is there a formula to adjust or am I stuck conducting new load development?

Thanks I’m advance for any suggestions.

You’ll probably find it’s only a few tenths down and that half a grain and work up will do but I always find that when I try to skip and short cut my way I end up questioning it anyways and eventually doing it proper. There’s a lot more than just volume. Hardness to thickness and material location all play into it too
