I know this has been put out there in the past but I thought I would see if I could breath new life into it or see if things have changed. I have a CTR in 6.5 that I am looking to transfer into a chassis. I am not against using AI mags as I have in an MPA chassis already. It looks like MDT allows for use of the CTR mag in some chassis. Anyone know of other options?

Very interesting. Will check it out.

Emailed KRG about the Bravo being available for Tikka mags. They confirmed that it is in the works. Said they are hoping to have it available in 4-6 weeks. Will be keeping an eye on that one to see. That isn’t too far away if they are on time. Even if they run late it sounds like a CTR mag Bravo is right around the corner.

Thanks for looking into that. I was thinking Bell & Carlson, but they raised their prices and though I like their stocks very much, I'm not sure they have as much to offer as the KRG with all of the features and add ons.

I wonder if you can interchange the Bravo chassis with the others, the internal chassis part itself, that is?

Probably doesnt make sense for most but I put my CTR in a KRG Bravo. Then, I decided to set it up as a trainer to my TRG. I discovered I could add a TRG stock and forend to the KRG backbone and it takes CTR/TRG mags. I put an Arca rail on the Anschutz rail insert in the forende like my TRG.

Like I said-not for most but actually is my preference. I ay this as you could probably get a KRG chassis, then add a TRG forend and mag catch and get theirs to take the mags you want. I already had a stack of TRG mags (not cheap) so it made sense for me.

I emailed KRG yesterday morning and they must have been hard at work on the holiday because they got right back to me in six minutes:

Dear KRG, I have heard rumors you are designing a chassis system based on the Bravo that accepts the Tikka CTR mags. Is that correct? If so, please notify me when it is available.

Hi WT, Yes, we are working on one. We hope to have it available before the end of the year. Thank you, -KRG > On Nov 28, 2019

KRG is on top of things. I emailed them today to see if there was going to be a price difference between the prior version of the KRG Bravo for Tikka rifles and the CTR inletted one and this is there response.

Will there be a price difference between the regular Tikka and that which accepts the CTR magazine? Thanks.

We have yet to determine the final price. If there is a difference it shouldn’t be very much.

Thank you,
