I just rebarreled a rem 700. Now looking for a cheap stock that has a vertical grip. I was thinking a magpul. That puts me $300 into stock, dbm, and mag. Any suggestions?

Grayboe Renegade, Stocky's or PTG bottom metal, and just spend the money on good mags. My experience and a few others with the Magpul mags aren't good. They don't feed well, and we've had issues with the bullets tilting forward in the magazine. My rifle is 6.5 Creedmoor, and the others were 308, and 6mm Dasher.
My magpul mags fed better than the AI and Accurate mags with 243AI and 22-250. Both mine fed 6.5 creedmoor and .308 also.
Magpul actually makes a 30-06 specific mag. But yeah, look at Grayboe, Stocky's, Magpul, or even a used stock here on the PX.
