A shooting buddy of mine helps out part time at a local pawn shop. I got this email from him last night and thought I'd share. His truck is either a 09' or 10' loaded (pun intended) Z71.

"So were sitting at the store today and a kid in his mid 20's comes in and ask
>> if we buy guns. Told him sure, make sure its unloaded and bring it in.
>> He goes back out and just a minute later we hear "BOOM" cop hanging out
>> said what was that, I replied, it sounded like a shotgun going off
>> inside a car. He runs for the door and says(as 2 other customers go to
>> follow him) stay inside.
>> Sure enough, shotgun goes bang, through the side of his car and right
>> into the side of my truck.
>>
>>
>> And you know he has no insurance."

Perhaps he should have been specific about HOW to unload it?!?!?!?

Sorry man. That really sucks!! Well?? Don't keep us in suspense. Did he buy the gun?

Re: Chevy vs. Buckshot

^^ I worked for a rental company in risk managment long enough to know what can and can't be done with a vehicle. This is up there but not the best one I have seen. Wish I could have some of the pictures from that job it would make you wonder/laugh/and maybe even some people cry.

Sorry for your friends truck talk about a rough day.

Re: Chevy vs. Buckshot

I haven't gotten a chance to ask him if they bought the shotgun or not. When I replied to his email I told him I didn't think it would buff out. Another guy he sent it to replied to all and said, "If it was a Ford there wouldn't be a scratch...". All of the guys he sent it to are having a pretty good time poking at him. I just hope he doesn't get screwed too bad on the insurance side or have to come out of pocket to fix it.

OL boy may have let that pawn shop looking like a human pop sickle with the barrel of said shotgun up his a$$. I hope you can recoup your money back from him in some fashion. He may owe your friend a couple of years of yard work and car washes. Oh nevermind the car washes we see how he treats them. Make him scrape and paint your house.
