Elevation Kit

Anyone actual use one of these? Seems odd to have a mono pod located under the grip vs the rear of the stock. Wondering how sturdy it really is and if it is really functional or not.

Not used this one in particular.

But the TRG (earlier models) have a pogo that comes out of the rear stock. It is ok, but is a PITA on movers. Much better off with a beanbag or wedge bag.

I've used mine mainly for bench testing when I want utter stability for re-zeroing or similar. The rest of the time, beanie sock.

The new TRG stocks have more of a 'foot' that extends down. I like the looks of that design better, but suspect that it's also a pain to track side-to-side.
