Currently I have a choate tactical on my savage, good stock so far but came across this website showing me this.

    http://www.combatstocks.com/Choate_TACTI...erfeed_Only.cfm

I have the regular stock, blind mag. Same Anyone know what type of DBM this takes? It says its only for mag feed rifles only, can any rifle be mag fed? I have a stevens. The cost is less than what I paid from midway for my regular stock. Might have to swap it out if its worth it.

Measure your action screw spacing. If it measures 4.41(i think) then it's a centerfeed action. And that stock with the dbm will work.

But, if it measures shorter than that it's a staggered feed action. And your only hope for a dbm is either to buy a unit from Jeff at CDI.Or run a V-BULL.

Its the same action screw spacing I have with my standard choate tactical. How difficult would it be to convert my stevens from a blind mag to a DBM? What system/setup for a mag would you guys recommend without getting into the outrageous pricing?
