Kind of a gay tacticool name but curious if anybody has one or ever used one? Are they as good as an H&S stock or more Hogue level of quality? I hate to say it but looking at the price my expectations aren't too high.
They are not worth a fuck. I have owned two. Years ago when I first got into this. In that price range get a hs take off from a 700 police or somethin. I'm about to buy one possibly and put it in a mcree. If I.do. I'll make you a good deal on the take off if you want it.
Appreciate it but I got a FN PBR. I have been trying to find a stock for without spending too much, since I am going to sink a decent amount at CDI getting a DBM put in so I will prob just go with a H&S.
If you get a mcree.chassis they come with the.bottom metal built in+ no need for bedding. They are pretty damn awesome in my opinion and quite a bargain when you figure all that in buy it bolt you action in and go to.shooting. just that simple
I have a choate tactical stock so not the one you are looking at but I have the tactical on my savage 10FP its not an AICS or anything but its a decent stock. Its plenty accurate and comfortable to shoot with.
I shot one for a couple of years and it was accurate enough, but I didn't think it was very comfortable. I didn't like the cheek piece and didn't like the way it sat on a rear bag. Not a total waste of money if you were on a tight budget and could get it cheap. Just wouldn't be something I would spend money on again.
My Savage came with a tactical model, most of the stock is just for show. It's to soft/flexible and uncomfortable. Spend the money and get a REAL stock or chassis system.
bought a rem 700 with that stock on it. the idea was fine, IF the stock north of the recoil lugs wasn,t so....limp it would have been alright. have put reenforcement on the wiggley areas and it will do til i come across a good deal on something on viagra.
